Awaken retreat is located in the heart of Northern Wisconsin. Some of the nearby attractions include Pattison State Park, which boasts the largest waterfall in Wisconsin, Big Manitou Falls. A few short minutes away is Amnicon Falls State Park with its historic covered bridge spanning the wild Amnicon River. The area is home to over 300 miles of groomed state hiking trails, the famous sea caves along the Apostle Islands, and miles of Lake Superior shoreline. About the Facility
Retreats are hosted at the world famous Minnesuing Acres Resort, nestled in the serene backbrop of the northwoods. This private, hidden gem borders the shores of Lake Minnesuing. What was once a private family vacation home is now available for small, intimate gatherings. To add to your comfort and privacy, participants of the Awaken Retreats will be the only guests on the entire massive 200 acre lake front property.
The main lodge has 22 decorated rooms surrounding the center of the lodge. Each room has its own unique personality and name, fittingly steeped in Native American tradition. All rooms feature a private bathroom, desk and seating area, king or queen size bed with deluxe linen, high speed internet, individually controlled thermostat, blow dryer, Keurig coffee maker, and bottled water. Every room provides the perfect balance between relaxation and ease of access to amenities.
Amenities include swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, outdoor and indoor fire places, kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake, groomed hiking trails, mountain bikes, golf course, tennis/pickle ball courts, pool table, one lane bowling alley, and workout center.
